illustrations
Exploring the intersection of past and present, I merge traditional comic‑book artistry, halftone color layers, tattoo-style stippling and spit shading, and the textured essence of printmaking. I bring these analog traditions into the digital realm to create richly layered, modern illustrations.
In my tattoo design project, comic-book halftone dots collide with tattoo style stippling and spit shading to carve out bold, edgy forms. I spice it up with traditional printmaking texture, grainy, tactile, analog grid and then flip the switch to digital paint, turning each design into a striking, high-voltage blend of retro and now.
Halftone meets stipple, analog printmaking
grit turned digital
bold, ink‑ready visuals
For the character design project, I blend gritty halftone punch with tattoo stipple and spit-shade magic, layering in splashes of traditional printmaking textures for depth and soul. Then I polish it all off with digital painting magic-etching analog attitude onto modern pixels.
